I shot this picture at my son's school yesterday morning. Tamron 50-400mm is a great landscape lens. It's smaller, lighter and more flexible than the alternatives.

Tamron 50-400 with A7RV in action for Moonrise over Bezděz castle, Czech Republic.
The range was excellent for this shoot. Usually with Moon alignments I want the Moon to big so I try to get far from land subject and max out focal length. But here it was important to capture the reflection of the Moon so I was using much wider focal length than usual. Some were even below 100mm.
I have a youtube channel with landscape photography and astrolandscapes. It is in Czech language though most of my videos also have corrected English subtitles. Youtube has recently added a feature on my channel where I can add multiple audio tracks so I tried it for the first time in this photoshoot to have both Czech and English voice recorded later (not AI voice, my own). You can watch it here:

Here are a few shots from this summer's swim season. I used the Tamron 50-400mm to capture the action and it does quite well. Last year I used the Tamron 150-500, which was also good, but the range was a bit longer than I really needed. I still on occasion use my Tamron 70-180, but I'd say 200-300mm is probably the max range of what I'd need and I can crop the rest of the way. I'm eyeing a Sigma 200/2 to try next year for the fast aperture. Shooting the zooms at the longer end can negate the slow aperture a bit and you can still achieve a shallow DoF though. Most of these were actually at 400mm f6.3. I have some more on my flickr page if you want to browse.
