One of my favorite locations to take photos of Mt Hood. Not much in fall colors yet, but a beautiful view I had to myself for my 40 minute visit.

The summit of Bald Mountain is at 4591 ft and is only 4.2 miles from the 11,249 ft summit of Mt Hood. Usually one can have this viewpoint by themselves as the masses continue the trail around Bald Mountain.

Great view, the mountain looks naked without much snow, but that shows the rock nicely. I'd say you got pretty darn nice fall color for this area.

It was naked without much snow. It was even worse in July of last year.
