The water motion in the first is excellent.

Ed, I'd say your bear compositions are exceptional and they don't appear to be from elevated viewing platforms at all. #1 is wonderful, blurred water and a look at you out of the corner of the eye is sweet! All singles or doubles in the water are a treat to see, well seen well captured. I like the comps in #4 and #8 and the last almost made me fall in and over

Northern lights, someday! Your shots are motivating to do it sooner than later, excellent.

YGMV these are exceptional images ...

The bears alone are thread-win worthy. Your bear shots are great, but adding in the northern lights pushes them over the top.

It was a single shot. Lots of tries to get the bear to sit still and look at me!

Were you around for the demise of one of the quads? I think it happened one or two days after our group departed.
