Yes, lots of options to pick from, many favorites to pick from on a given day. For me clouds decide on the location, but I have favorites even without clouds, you can't get the right clouds every day.
3 weeks is my favorite visit time, all influenced by clouds. Sometimes snow, sometimes even fog.
Fog is more common in more northern states, but it can happen.
