I didn't know about the minimum posting requirement until I just tried to PM someone about a lens. I guess I'll need to purchase the 'Upload and Sell.' Oh well, live and learn.

Another +1 to this, unless the end goal was to have new users organically figure out search and navigate the whole forum! I feel like this error message can be added on the same page as the "Quick Reply", "Reply", or DM composer with red warning text, so that you don't have to use the browser's back button and potentially have your comment or message cleared out.
