My wife has a very renouned family history ( but where's the money? ) from England.
Her Uncle Claude was a "dapper dan". While her Aunt was a female who could wear a hat!!!
The tone is directly from the negative. No post processing done to alter that.
Lovely photo of the young lady. I'm guessing she was in her early twenties or even a teenager at that sitting. There is an aura of youthful confidence in her pose.

Dan, love these shots, esp of the woman.
But you're really showing your age by sharing these pics. :-)

Very cool Dan! Love historical images. The prints look like they have held up pretty darn well.
--My wife and her family kept all these pictures in a binder that had a transparent clear film to cover the prints.
Thanks Ross-------------------------------------------

Dan,
I just ended an intense 3 year caregiver service to my mother in law, it really is a full time job! She just passed in her sleep at 95, but i would do it again! Good on you to take that on!

Sorry for the spelling error Brian. I meant "ton".
God Bless her.
It IS a full time job. And at 76, it is not mentally or physically easy on me. But it is more frustrating that the medical care here is 3rd world at best and the "roadblocks" that the medical conglomerates have created here have made it even worse!
We have had to drive down into the DC area to receive any kind of proper care.
That is sad!
Thanks for the encouragement Brian!

Dan,
I agree on the “mental and physical” challenge, and I am only 67. I had to do the same ten years ago for my father in law as well, so i understand the “AGAIN” comment. While it was sometimes traumatizing for me and my wife, they are, or were family! I wont start on how bad dealing with Medicare and conglomerate hospital systems have become, it is sinful…as is the damn paperwork.

I second that emotion! I think it is more traumatizing for the caregiver than the patient! And most caregivers are younger! I am not saying this as a bad statement., I am just saying 1 person has to deal with EVERYTHING for the other person! Some handle it just fine! Others, as was noted, wander through the maze of "You called the wrong number', oh! this is the wrong dept yet you got the dept # of the message of text,....Enough "soap boxing".
Great image!
