This is a portrait I made of my father when he was visiting in the mid-1980s. He died in 2008, but has been an inspiration to me all my life. I wrote his obituary and in it I mentioned that, "Fred had three traits that were recognized by everyone who knew him. He was scrupulously honest, incredibly hard-working and completely devoted to his family."

Thank you all. He really was my role model. No exaggeration at all. No matter how bad any of us kids screwed up, he was always there for us.
