After years of seeing incredible imagery of the Torrey Pines Peregrines on this forum and other places, I was able to make two short trips to the cliffs at Torrey Pines for this season. I managed to capture these images over the course of a few days!
Avocet Meal
Pelican Attack
Full Wingspan
On the Beach
Feathers Flying
Sibling Food Fight
Fledgling Over the Pacific
Full Perch
With a TC, I couldn't decide which composition I liked better!
Excellent set of images!
It takes some guts to get the food fight shot
You got a lot of great shots, as seen in this post and your prior posts, even though your time at Torrey Pines was limited.
I hope we see you there again next year.

It was great running into you! Can’t wait to see your end of season post here, and perhaps I’ll run into you at one of the other Peregrine nests later in the season!
The pelican encounter. Is it a territorial dispute or or is he potentially prey?
Thanks for sharing!
It is a nest defense. The Peregrine cannot carry away the Pelican, however the Pelicans occasionally crash after being hit and drown in the sea or get injured hitting the beach.
Alphonsus, great sequence, you caught the action, your persistence paid off.
Looks like your also enjoying that 600 TC, I'm sure enjoying mine, a game changer.
