Just starting with ultraviolet reactive visible light photography. This is a rock specimen of Willemite, Calcite, and Franklinite (from Sterling Hill Mine in New Jersey). Both images taken in visible light with the Nikon Z8 and the Nikon 24-120mm f/4 lens (taken at 100mm and f/13). The second image is lit with a shortwave (255nm) ultraviolet flashlight. Will be trying this on plants and flowers later this year (although they are more reactive to longwave (365nm) ultraviolet).
