p.10 #1 · Official: Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 G OSS II Lens
Usually I walk out the door with a bag full of lenses but ever since I bought the 70-200 f/4 I really haven't given it a fair shake. Yesterday it was the only lens I took with me and I'm quite pleased with what it did. These are just two of many images I took with it. All hand held. Love this shot Al! Great colors, texture and composition - well done! I’m thinking about getting this lens too and selling my 90mm macro. I rarely need 1:1 with autofocus and this 70-200 f/4 ii macro would be far more versatile and useful to me. I also have the Voigtlander 110 macro for the rare times I need 1:1 reproduction. Sounds like you really like the 70-200 f/4 ii.

I've really grown to like it and I'm finding out how versatile it is. And it isn't all that big which is a bonus!

New member sharing some pics I got from this gem of a lens since I got it when it was just launched back in 2023. The compact size and basically unlimited range of focus distance means its just ridiculously versatile....I've packed it almost everyone of my overseas' trip.

Yeah. Too expensive. I switched to 20-70 as my main lightweight lens and was thinking about replacing my Tamron 35-150 with this so I have more focal length coverage and overall lighter kit, but at this price I will gladly wait 3 additional years for tariffs in the US to go way.
