I've lived a block from this bridge for more than 45 years and have shot hundreds of images either of it or from it. I love this bridge. It was built in 1916 and over the years began to develop structural problems, so in 1997 it was completely deconstructed and rebuilt in the neoclassical style as an exact replica of the original. The columns were carefully cut out and about two dozen "survivors" were offered to area residents with a limit of one column per household. One of them is in our back garden and used as a beautiful plant stand. I shot this in early morning light that was about as perfect as I've seen it.

Photography, to me in a sense, is being in the right place at the right time. Coinscidence or planned( yeah I know its spelled wrong...)or not.
