This July, I went to Crete on a family holiday. The weather was challenging for photos: hot and except for one morning no clouds in the sky. This being Greece, my landscapes include quite a few white churches:

Many thanks Bill! That boat shot was tricky...first I walked the wrong way in the port and had to double back, then I realised that there's no way to get the Milky Way in the shot as I'd have had to be 20 yards out in the water, then I had to compose under a lamppost that was flickering like crazy...
