I won't pretend I had any idea who Arthur Brown was when I read that. After watching a few videos, I'm pretty sure Arthur was on something...and it wasn't Zantac

He still performs. You may not like his style of music but his stage performance is phenominal! And at one performance in the 1970's he actually DID have a "flame blower" all decked out!
