It feels very good and operates very smoorh. It is quite a substantial lens but not too big for me. Nailing focus on 1.5 and 2.0 is quite challenging. Sharpness on 5.6 is comparable with that of my 35/2 APO so very good. But I only have a 24 MP camera, so I can’t tell for higher MP cameras. When shooting at 5.6 it is free of any CA as far as I can see.. for my purpose (nice bokeh options on the lower apertures and landscape on the higher) this lens seems a very good choice.
I do not need the 75mm 1.5.

No one truly needs anything, but you might be dead tomorrow. Buy the lens.
Testing my newly acquired Voigtlander 40mm f/1.2 Nokton asph (Z mount) on Z7. ISO 64, f/1.6 (judged to be the best balance between sharpness and bokeh, for this subject), 1/500s, handheld.
1st day impression. The Voigtländer Nokton 75mm F1.5 sits and handles very well on the Zf without a grip. It excells at portraits, but I dont have anyone to show, my daughter and her friend is of social media. I'll take some when Im around adults isntead. But here is some photos at least. SOOC Jpegs. All at F1.5 except the sun.
