That 58mm 1.4 SL II-s is amazing, I LOVE IT
I pasted some photos below, every single photo SOOC looks amazing.
At f5.6 to 8 its VERY sharp, at f1.4 it gives just a little bit of dreamy look, but I can play with depth and focus to achieve different effect, plus that 3D pop! My first such a creative lens. I wish these were Z mount
I normally shoot at very close range and almost wide open, so probably 98% of the picture a blur. It takes loads of shots to have the focus where I want it and it's really hard to see on the screen even at magnification. I'm also not so fond of the edgy bokeh balls that happens above F2.
The matte finish is a result editing curves.

Curious if you ever focus bracket or if you just use the one shot?
Your work is inspiring....I'm enjoying the new use for the 58mm lens which is brilliant for this.
