@Patrick Kolb really enjoying the sets from Italy. The exquisite work all of the artists and master produced through the Renaissance is simply stunning and stands up against anything produced across any time.
@Vento, really like the Aerochrome simulation as a processing route on that BMW.
It's often a fine line with the RNI Kodak Aerochrome IR emulations, with the danger of slipping into kitsch.
Here, at least in my opinion, it really worked, especially because the color scheme of the BMW taillights is repeated here, which makes it look more harmonious than the original colors with green vegetation.
An alternative would have been B&W processing, but the normally rich green of the vegetation was a real distraction in this special case.
It's a shame the car was parked so modestly, with the front end right up against a hedge and other cars to the side, severely limiting the perspective.
The car itself is now so rare and, due to the value of such well-preserved models, rarely seen on the road anymore.
Fewer than 1,700 examples in total were built of this model between 1967 and 1970.
So, there are likely very few models left in this condition.
With a much better spot, I would have gone to the trouble of bringing my Plena + nodal adapter from home to capture a stunning bokeh panorama of the 1600 convertible.
So, a snapshot with the Apo Lanthar had to suffice.
