Beautiful Tim! Every time I see images from that lens I think about swapping out my 23/4 for the zoom!
Thanks Bob, it is a surprisingly good lens, and given it takes 82mm filters, it's sort of become my go to waterfall setup to cover UWA. I wouldn't mind your Laowa 17 too, but the 20-35 is usually wide enough for what I shoot. But I can think of some spots where I'd love to have the 17.
The 20-35 holds up well against my Sigma 14-24.
I'm glad I got my Fuji stuff when I did. I'd pay $1150 (not counting tax) more if I bought it today.
Hi Tim. I have seen you photograph this bridge numerous times in the past, including your post yesterday in the Sony image thread with the A7RV and Loxia 25mm, and got to say the 1st Fuji shot is my most favorite. I have been comparing the two almost identical cameras shots on my twin 27” Apple studio 5K displays and the colors are a bit richer vs. the Loxia post, especially the reds and blue sky, and the detail is so crisp, it makes me feel like I am standing right there.

Really well done!
Thanks, I do hit this bridge a few times every year. It's tricky getting the right conditions. I have to be there in the morning, and there is a short window of time where the reflection is good. If there is any wind, it makes it really hard. I didn't work too hard to get the colors consistent between the two cameras, but there is a certain richness to the reds and blues with the Fuji, no doubt. There were a lot of people coming and going Sunday morning, and some kids and their parent fishing. But it was one of the better times I've been there in a while in terms of shooting conditions.
If the conditions are right, you can get gorgeous shots there. They repainted the bridge last summer, before that the red had really faded.
Here's another shot with the Fuji, this time 4:3rds aspect ratio. The other shot I posted you could see the shadow of the camera. That's actually another challenge I forgot to mention.

I instantly knew this bridge Tim! I have many photographs of this covered bridge in every season. I especially love winter.
Just a sharp crisp image! Actually Tim there are 3 more covered bridges just South of Gettysburg just inside Maryland(right off Rt15S) if you get by this way. Now is "thee" time I love. The leaves are beginning to change and the covered bridges are wonderful this time of year.

Now just some FYI to all here...There was a HUGE solar flare Saturday and last night and tonight it is supposed to hit the Mid-Eastern USA around 11pm. That means there could be some GREAT auroras!
I checked last night but did not see anything!
