This bug in flight technique you are using seems to be down to a science now. I don't know how many you throw away, but this sure looks like a high keeper rate to me!

had higher % images in focus yesterday when I shot this one
towards when I photographed the Southern hawker last weekend
however, it was rather harsh light, but then the dragonflies thrives, they worship the sun
