As good or better than many shots I see taken with FF cameras.

I added this combo thinking it would be okay as a "just in case I see something" lightweight option to my Z9. I think I greatly underestimated its potential. I have zero hesitation using it in any situation now. My dream lens was always a 600 F4. My dream lens now is the OM 150-400
Thanks Tony

Same here, except at my age I am not going to pack around a heavy fixed-focal length lens. I used the zoom range all the time and would not mind having the 150-400 either.

MPB had a few 150-400's priced at $5500 a few weeks ago. They're gone now. I requested a quote trading my Z9, 180-600, and an 85 1.8 S. They wanted an additional $1200 from me and it just seemed like too much to give up so I'll wait. I really like my 100-400 but the 4.5 instead of 6.3 would be a big plus. Not to mention the built n TC.
