I still remember posting my first Northern Harrier Photo and being completely baffled by why it looked mushy and subpar. Thanks to the advice from fellow FM members, I learned about the impact of heat shimmer, and from that point on, I�ve learned a lot about wildlife photography (still learning every day).

These recent shots of a Northern Harrier finally quenched my thirst (for now) to capture a decent photo(s) of this stealthy raptor!

I�d love to hear any feedback or comments!

These are really nice, sweet light. I love you got the male as well. I have never got a decent image of the Grey Ghost, but you have.

Thank you! Gray Ghost true to its name has been elusive especially for Phoenix area. I am glad I got a good glimpse of it.

you got the sweet light and the desirable male! they are hard to find and even harder to photograph
