My Z 35 f1.2S arrived today. So far, the IQ is incredible. It's one of those lenses that as soon as you put the images on the screen to post process you go, "Wow". Having said that and to be fair, I have said that about with just about every Z lens I have purchased. Maybe, I should say, "Wowzer" like I have said with the Z50 f1.2, Z85 f1.2, Z135 f1.8 Plena, Z105 f2.8 Micro, Z70-200 f2.8 VR S, Z600 f4 TC.
A quick run around a few local haunts where this lens could be tested late today. Mainly wanted to see how the bokeh performed and the CA. All looks great to me considering it is an f1.2 35mm wide angle lens!

Hi Lance, thanks for posting, I was looking at this thread everyday to see when you would post photos of the new 35mm 1.2S, and the wait was worth it, beautiful photos as usual
I may sell my beloved 28mm 1.4E (and a couple other ones), just to get my hands on this amazing 35mm 1.2S.

What?!!! That would only be a stop for a cup of coffee with the 28mm f1.4E! You waited so long to get that lens!
Would be keen to see a comparison between lenses actually. Different focal lengths of course, but I think the 28mm f1.4E is still very relevant today.

Agree, I too would be very interested in a comparison between these two lenses. I suspect the 28 1.4 would hold up very well.
I own both lenses, the 28mm f1.4 E is one of the only 2 Nikon F mount lenses I still own together with the 19mm T/S, this says how much I like it since I owned more than 20 top notch F mount glass 3-4 years ago.
Well, the 35mm f1.2 does everything better, starting with AF that now can be used for action if required. The bokeh is even nicer while preserving a higher level of sharpness and fringing control.

Think I got mine with the first batch (I'm NPS), and wanted a fast wider lens than my 50/1.2 for evening photos lit only by candle. These are a few SOOCs showing the DoF at f/1.2. I'll add more (especially evening photos) later.
Still have my 24/1.4G and 28/1.4E, as well as the 24/1.8S, but will likely sell them all once Nikon releases a 24/1.4S or 1.2S.

A bit of fun to see how easily the Z 35 f1.2S stitched together with 13 vertical shots of Sydney Harbour taken from the South Pylon lookout looking from north on the left to south on the right. Stitched in Photoshop.
