Being from Ohio and seeing the Red Rock formations and catching the amazing sunsets was a treat on my short trip to Sedona. Not knowing where to be and where to set up was my enemy but on drive this one presented itself.
C&C is respected and much appreciated, thank you!
Karl
Karl, the sunset light on red rocks is very special. Have been to Sedona only once but still remember that sunset! I think you came away with a nice capture. I like the path leading into the image on right and the contrast of orange and greens.

There is so much to see and it changes as the light changes. This path took us to a great lookout area as well, It was at an airport area that you pay to park and walk, gets to be a bit of challenge when it gets dark but you are also looking down on the downtown strip of Sedona so very beautiful in the eve after sunset too.
Thanks a bunch!
Karl
Nice beautiful scene you captured Karl, I like the color contrast and some of the foreground elements you framed up like the path and the pine tree on the left which helps create a nice sense of depth.

Thank you Scott, appreciate the mention of elements that were helpful to the image. You have some wonderful images on your website
A nice shot Karl! Great colors and some are complimentary which makes it even more pleasing to the eye. Sedona is such a nice place to explore. Have not been there for so many years...it must be time for another visit.
Great composition here. I think the tree on the left, with the path on the right, really balances the image and leads your eye to the red rocks in the background.
