Some of my favorite artists and musicians. These photos were taken over the past 40 years or so. A number of the black and white shots, Joe Williams, Branford Marsalis, Michele Petrucciani, Maynard Ferguson were taken in the early 1980s in a tiny space on the second floor of the old Cellar Door in D.C. I was shooting with one light between sets in a space about 4 feet across and 6 feet deep.
Just STUNNING photography Aboud!
I knew the Cellar Door very well in my youth and after. I knew Tom Lyons from my father knowing his father!
I frequented TCD very often over its history!
Again superior photography!
