Has anyone used the Voigtlander VM-Z Close Focus Adapter on a Nikon Z body?
I haven't heard much about it, and am wondering if it's a decent adapter for using M mount lenses on Nikon Z cameras.
I think it should be quite good mechanically, being a Voigtlander product, but I have never used it because adapting VM lenses on Z bodies can induce softness in the corners being VM lenses designed for a thinner sensor stack than Nikon's. There are few exceptions, e.g, the 21/3.5.

Any signs of image degradation when using the adapter and M mount lens?
I don't have a Leica to compare to. I use with Voigtlander 15mm III and TTArtisans 28mm f5.6, which I had seen adapted well before purchasing. Both of these lenses can be used at the hard stop for infinity.
My copy of the 15mm might not quite reach infinity completely for a distant cityscape but works well for how I use it e.g. focuses just shy of infinity and dof extends plenty.. or shooting across the street, everything is in focus. This might just how this particular lens is optimised.
Neither lens is particularly fast, though I have stacked an f-mount adapter onto the close focus adapters, and everything has been rosy.
I have seen people have problems with tilt in the TTartisan chipped adapter but not with the Voigtlander
I have both the Voigt and the TTArtisan 6-bit adapter. While the chipping and exif is nice with the latter, the precision is not as good and all the lenses I've tried it with focus past infinity. With the helicoid fully retracted infinity focus looks perfect to me with the Voigt.
Check Fred's and others recommendations for which lens perform well adapted
That thread appears to be identifying what lenses do or do not work well on Sony cameras. I would check this article which suggests that Z cameras fare better (but still not as good as on M cameras).
