I ordered a B20 set. I'll let you know what I think. I have two of the Godox 1200s and love them. I like the size of the smaller Godox models but I'm not a big fan of adapters to fit modifiers and then the larger monolights are pretty big. If I wasn't so invested in Profoto I'd probably make the jump.
Got my B20s with the optional handle. You get about 1 extra stop of light with the modeling light which is nice but probably won't be useful to everyone. If you use the app it shows you the color temp of the modeling light while you adjust it. The strobe itself does not show the color temp. The finish is nice and I actually really like the functionality of the handle. It is bulky and I wish they had designed a folding or click in feature but it still fits in the space I have designated for the lights in my bag. I don't think the B30 with the handle will fit so I might keep my B10 Plus. The stand knob is better than the original series but I still prefer the aftermarket upgrades that I have on my earlier models. Pretty much all of the upgrades fall under the "nice to have if you use it" category and not something worth running out and upgrading for. If you're wanting true innovation you'll have to wait. For me the ability to use with larger modifiers and control them better with the handle will be nice. If you're looking for ultimate portability which is probably what most people are looking for with a 250 watt strobe I'd stick with the B10/B10x or even look at the Godox strobes. If you're a fan of the Profoto B series strobes everything else pretty much stays the same. The strobes are simple and intuitive with the best menu system I've seen.
Thanks for that. Not being able to adjust the color temp without using the app is a bizarre oversight but probably not a frequently used feature for most strobe users. And it's not really bright enough to very seriously double as a continuous light for video anyway IMHO (and is the fan even quiet enough for that anyway?)

I wouldn't be surprised if they add it in a firmware update at some point.
Also now that you can add the dome to the lights I'll probably test the output in a couple of modifiers just to see if it's worth the trouble of swapping them out. I was going to try a 3, 4 and 5 foot octa and umbrellas with diffusers but if there's anything else people want me to try or if you have questions let me know. As I said earlier there's not much user experience out there on these strobes and apparently not much of a market for selling my older ones.
