Not sure the occasion, but they come out to $31.49 after the coupon. I used one in a Z8, they say they work in Z6 III. I like that they charge via USB-C as well but I know some are hesitant on 3rd party batteries but I thought I’d share.
These work great with my z8. The ability to charge them with just a simple usb-c cord directly to the battery & the price, makes these appeal more to me vs. the OEM batteries.
Just a small note. Any of these USB-C chargeable batteries. smallrig/viltrox/etc. they seem to be all the same factory. I have both. They work fine with the Z6iii and Grip.
However if you have an older body that has a removable grip. The Camera will error out and not power on if one of those batteries are in the camera with grip attached. I have a D500 and D750. A solo battery works but once i connect a grip the camera shuts off immediately.
