We had rain for our first day of summer, but no one is complaining. Testing out my Fotodiox Pro 35mm extension tube on the RF 600mm f4 - it gets the MFD down to about 9-10 feet which helps with these small subjects.
I found a used RF 16mm f2.8 in the local camera store the other day. After a few hand-held test shots in the back yard, I can say this is a surprisingly sharp little lens; at f2.8 you can still blur the background, although the bokeh is a little funky.
