p.1 #1 · Grand Canyon Christmas: A Chilly, Memorable Trip
My 2017 Christmas week at Grand Canyon National Park was unexpectedly bustling, given the time of year! Though it was primarily a family visit with limited dedicated photography time, I made sure to capture the magic of a couple of sunrises and sunsets from various viewpoints. While it's been a few years, the vivid memory of the biting cold remains, as does the absolutely mesmerizing beauty of the Grand Canyon at dawn and dusk. It's been so long since my visit, that I have forgotten all the viewpoints I photographed from
Sharing few images from that trip that I feel truly capture its essence. Thanks for taking a look, and I welcome all your comments and critiques!

Absolutely stunning. I've only been to the Grand Canyon once so far, but it's an experience I recommend to everyone. As great as these pictures are (as well as all the others I've seen before) it's breathtaking in person.

Just gorgeous. It really is amazing to witness the changes during a sunrise and sunset, and they happen so fast, especially at this time of year. Great job being "in the zone" and making some wonderful images.

Thanks Brad, GC is an incredible location and so much to photograph but with family its tough to carve out time. But happy that was able to capture few images that were worth sharing.

Thank you very much. I totally agree with you...it's an experience that's not to be missed. In fact, it was super cold during Christmas time but there were ton's of people out for sunrise.

Nice set - I particularly like #4 sunset with the river.
When I have been to the Grand Canyon I feel so impotent at capturing something so huge - like "where do I even start?"
Well done

Thanks you very much and I completely agree with “where do I even start” it’s something that has to be experienced.
