p.1 #1 · Panasonic 100-400 Mk II + Olympus MC-14 teleconverter?

Have been looking for a teleconverter to extend the range of my Panasonic 100-400 Mk ii + G9 ii but the Panasonic teleconverter (DMW-TC14) is too expensive.

There are some posts reporting using Olympus MC-14 teleconverter with the first version of Panasonic 100-400 lens: https://www.reddit.com/r/M43/comments/143w2ha/tested_the_mc14_teleconverter_on_my_g9panleica/ where a comp issue is preventing me:

"Retains full electronic control, but you can’t go much lower than 200mm due to MC-14’s “protrusion” and you have to remove a part from the lens to get it to mount"

However, the second version of 100-400 changes the rear mount design. Does anyone has the experience of using Olympus MC-14 teleconverter together with it? Anything to share? Also, does the auto-focus speed significantly degrade?

Sorry, but the Panasonic DMW-TC14 is discontinued

You mean Panasonic DMW-STC14 Lumix S 1.4x Teleconverter?

You will probably be sorry when you run into non-compatibility issues using the Oly.

I didn’t know it was compatible with the 45mm f1.2.
