These photos are from a recent visit to the Marine Nature Study Area in Oceanside, NY. Some birds are starting to gather to migrate and the vegetation is changing colors.

1) Great Egret with vegetation changing colors
2) Great Egret Hunting at the edge of a pond
3) The fish that did not get away
4) Starlings gathering
5) They land and vanish into the grass
6) Great Blue Heron passing, sometimes they are resident all year
In my early days it was endless winters, now it's endless summers, heh. You guys get a head start on us now that I'm down south. Nicely varied set Morris!
