"Broken glass can symbolize a variety of things, often relating to fragility, endings, and new beginnings. It can represent the end of a cycle, a broken situation or relationship, or the shattering of illusions. It can also be associated with emotional vulnerability, the release of anger, or the breaking of energetic barriers. "
Stone's throw away distance from where I work, in downtown Jackson, is "Farish Street Historic District". Once a thriving African American community, now pretty much ruined. It comes to life on special occasions in a year. "Mama Rose Kitchen" is a mural work done by an artist and that too has been pretty much destroyed, just like "Broken Glass".

Thank you Dan. I decided on doing this after a lot of thinking. Literally thought of breaking a glass vase and doing something with it, but abandoned that idea. Finally took a different route altogether and came up with this.
