I live in a college town and every year between mid-August and the end of the month leases expire and new ones begin for the influx of students. Invariably, there are scenes like this in the areas populated by students. When they leave town, the cheap furniture just goes out to the curb where it eventually gets picked up and taken to the landfills.

Just about done. Right now there's a crew fixing up all the terraces that were dug up when doing new driveway aprons and sidewalks. One layer of asphalt has been put down and the final one is scheduled for September 20. Nearly there!
