At first I thought how is he going to beat that chipmunk with a fly on its back, but then there was the monarch on that amazing array of little white flowers and I'm like that's it but then came the hummers... sheesh! You've outdone yourself here John, with wonderful comps and color throughout.

#3 the pop of the orange and pattern works so nicely with the simplicity of neutral white flowers, really pretty one
#4 nice handling of tricky lighting, really cool to see that that leaf in that pose to greet the hummer! Gosh those flowers have a beautiful glow to them as if internally luminated
#5 great color on those deep purples to accentuate the darker browns, great color palette here and a nice comp as well
#6 perhaps my fav! flat wings gave all the details and color, soft hues on the flower it is on is great and the depth and bg color is splendid, a winner and one that should be printed

#8 tricky but eye being spot on works for me! Hard to beat that orange contrasting flower to support your blue-black b-fly
Good of you to have seen these and put them in your viewfinder, they are creative shots that really work out nicely my friend.
