The fall colors are approaching peak in my area so I went out during a rain storm a couple days ago and was able to capture soft overcast light and golden hour light once the sun came out after the storm cleared. I found many compositions that caught my eye.

Well saturated foliage color - gorgeous Autumn scenic view collection
Thank you for the nice feedback Jung! Those first ones with the reds are some of the most vibrant I've ever seen. Usually they will turn kind of orange in areas but those reminded me of east coat colors.

There's a lot of good work here, but the images including the dirt road are especially strong, particularly the first of those two.
Thank you for that great feedback JWRisinger! I was hoping the dirt road shots would help create a leading line. I too really like that first one with those incredible storm cloud formations! Appreciate your kind words!

Blazingly good color, Scott!

Always great to hear your nice feedback Douglas, thank you! With all the color this time of year, I find a lot of inspiration to get out. Even ordinary scenes look can look spectacular once transformed with fall foliage.

Thank you Al, I really like the fall stuff you just posted, very nice shots! I really like that peach orchard one! Not sure if it's the same one, but I found something similar in Palisade Colorado a couple years ago.
I agree, soft light sometimes look better for the fall colors, depending on the scene!

A couple from that orchard I came across.
Palisade...I shot that one off of 'F Road' south of town (west of 37-1/4 Rd). The orchards there have long rows of trees running S-N off the road and make for some great images facing Mt. Garfield.
