Panny 100�500 lens

I just received this in the IN box; know nothing about it, but because I want to shoot a local small peregrine falcon who uses an adjoining balcony to launch her attacks from, I am definitely interested in getting one of the Panny or Oly long offerings.

This is an L mount lens, not 4/3.

Well, that changes everything! Thanks for letting me know. i was 20nm offshore when I checked the In box, so was somewhat distracted...

I will be searching here for a long �4/3rds lens; I see many threads.

From my research, the best IQ options are (in order):

1. Oly 150-400 f/4.5 w/ 1.25x
2. Oly 300 f/4
3. Leica 100-400 f/var
3. Oly 100-400 f/var

That's a "WOW" from me, Tony: my favourite bird, beautifully composed and rendered. The little local falcon that I want to shoot is quite small, about 8" high (a Nankeen kestrel � but with that same beauty that the peregrine falcon family displays). Your image is beautiful.
