I found the Adobe lens correction profile (.lcp file) for this lens on the Sigma site for those that are interested. I tested it out, and it does a decent job of correcting distortion and vignetting at all focal lengths over 30mm. But from 20-30mm it is okay but not great. A the widest end you still need to manually add some barrel distortion correction in LR, then the central 80-90% of the image looks good, but the outer 10-20% suffers some significant pin-cushion (caused by the manual correction). If you shoot buildings or architecture (where the correction is most needed) go a little wider and correct for perspective distortion, most of the pin cushion area gets cropped away anyway. It's better than nothing I suppose.
Let me know if anyone is interested in downloading it and I'll post the link.
That last (make that 3rd and 4th since you added more after my comment ) compositions between the 2 tree trunks and the runner are awesome, looks like you are having a blast with the new lens. Congrats.

Here is one taken at 20mm, which I used the Sigma lens correction profile to remove the distortion. I also corrected the perspective distortion, so I ended up with close to a 1x1 ratio, so I just cropped it a bit more to get 1x1 exactly. Obviously, lots of editing going on here to achieve the high key look I was going for.

I would be interested in the link for the correction profile if you don’t mind sharing.
I bought this lens also, and have been having fun with it so far. Wouldn’t mind some help with the corrections though. 😉

I'm in the same boat! first time buying a new lens and I didn't realize the correction profiles would be so elusive. only taken test shots so far but on the wide end it's been an incredibly frustrating experience. how often does lightroom usually take to update with the profile?

Today I saw the Sigma 20-200 on Adobe’s supported lenses list. Haven’t opened Lightroom to check that out yet, but will this weekend.

Ok, so maybe I won’t be trying Lightroom’s new lens profile this weekend. My Dell laptop appears to have given up the ghost. Maybe someone else can give it a try quicker than I’ll be able to do.

Well, I replaced the laptop. I installed a ton of apps, including Lightroom Classic. So this morning I tried to find the profile for the Sigma 20-200 in Lightroom, but it’s not there. It does show up on Adobe’s site that lists supported lenses though. Not sure if I just missed something, or it just really isn’t there yet.

Sigma has been added to Camera Raw, but not Lightroom yet from what I see...

I ended up in a situation this weekend the 20-200mm may have been perfect for. I was on a boat ride where I knew the scenery was going to rapidly change. To get the telephoto photos I was going to need longer than 100mm. There was not going to be time to change lenses, and I had to make do with only having one camera with me. So I used my 28-400mm on the way out. It worked well for the telephoto photos, but when the scenery got close 28mm was not wide enough. So on the way back, I used my 14-24mm. This worked great for getting those wide photos, but I was unable to get any of the mid range to telephoto photos. Times like these are when super zooms really shine.

I have been using the Sony 24-105 mm f4 for many years now and I am thinking about replacing it with the Sigma 20-200 mm. Any thoughts and recommendations?

That's good to hear.
This is going to be real simple for me. I've liked what I've seen from my 28-200. Once I get the Sigma I'm going to do a bunch of direct comparison shots. Unless the new sigma falls flat on its face IQ wise or just doesn't physically handle well I'd say the Tamron is gone. Tamron will have a small IQ advantage since PureRaw has profiles for it. Sigma is newer tech so I think that's a pretty big advantage. All the lens coming out lately just seem better to me regardless of brand (at least from a sharpness standpoint.)

I’m interested in this lens as a travel lens for my Nikon Z8/Z6III
How is the AF? I need a adapter and of course and that will slow the AF down a bit.
Nikon has a 24-200, but I would like to have a little wider.
