p.1 #1 · Autumn Marsh Foliage Colors with Waterfowl
In autumn, the grasses and other foliage at the Marine Nature Study Area in Oceanside, NY create a beautiful environment to photograph the waterfowl that migrates later in the season and also the resident creatures. On this day the Super Moon created an unusually high astronomical tide flooding many of the paths in the park. Familiarity of the park allowed me to work my way well into the park without getting into water deep enough to top my hiking shoes. Still about three quarters of the way into the preserve I stopped and waited for the water to go down some before proceeding. While waiting I wondered if I might find myself wading back in as the water continued to rise even as the moon was setting.
Comments and suggestions welcome,
Morris
Ps. I met Frank as he was arriving and I was departing. I've chosen to show the colors the way they appear while Frank saturated them, I assume for artistic reasons.

Per your request I have not commented on your posts. Your images are a totally different interpretation from what I posted. Artistic interpretation is fine.

My world is so nice without you and I am going to keep it that way. BTW - my photos were take the day after I walked by you in the field, in bright Sun light.

I've taken the part about high tide out as my assumption of when you shot was incorrect. I'm sorry about that.
