Much of the stream that feeds and exits the lake at Kissena Park (NYC) is underground yet there is a short section where it's still open at the surface. The birds frequent this location due to lush vegetation and water to drink and bath in. It is one of my faverate places in the park due to the variety of birds yet the dense vegetation and deep banks makes it a tricky place to shoot. In this set I present a variety of the more interesting birds I saw there about a month ago.
