p.1 #1 · GFX 100 ll Battery consumption and recharging
For just about as long as I can remember I have habitually put my cameras batteries on their charger in the evening and not payed the process much attention; the batteries were always fully charged and ready to go in the morning. Over the past several days I have had occasion to charge them during the day and have been surprised by how long the process takes. This morning I put one of the Fuji supplied batteries in the standard charger which indicated ~ 5% remaining power. Having timed the process it took a little over 6 hours to achieive 100%Charge; this is consistent with other more recent attempts I have made. Is this consistent with the experience of others here and is there a better (=faster) means of getting this done? I should mention that that the camera in question is a GFX 100 ll. I am planning a trip to a very cold area which will require heavy battery consumption and short of buying extra chargers and batteries I see no solution.
Ant thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on the power supply you use. It sounds like you have the Fuji dual charger but you don't say what power supply that is plugged in to. Laptop USB ports are usually really low power. The Fuji 110V plug that your camera came with is probably 15W which is faster. You can use up to 45W (15v, 3A) supplies with the dual charger which is supposed to charge in 150 minutes. Keep in mind that the fastest charging is usually harder on the battery. So its best to only use the fastest chargers when needed. If you are using the standard Fuji plug (15W), it should take about 3 hours to charge one battery.
