Two extremes: One image made with 12~24mm lens, other made with 400mm lens, hand held at 1/60 sec f13. Both the 400mm lens and camera body have image stabilization. The hand held 400mm shot is razor sharp when blown up on screen at actual size. I am 88 years old and the ibis is a game changer for me. I dislike hauling a tripod around (but I sometimes use a Monopod with quick release ball joint.) Modern technology is amazing. I also use a Fuji GFX 100S medium format camera which also has IBIS.

Nice shots, Dave, and a good backstory. I don't really care where you posted them, I'm just hoping I can be shooting like you when I'm 88. Keep up the good work!
