I've shot this camera for 15 years and absolutely love the .58 viewfinder. The meter is failing, as eventually happens to all TTL models. Sometimes it lights up - sometimes it doesn't. The good news is that Amsterdam Camera Repair, the guy who developed the replacement meter for the standard M6, is in the process of developing a replacement circuit for the TTL model.
I have a few other Leicas and am paring down. Listing this at around $700 less than other .58s because of the meter issue. Otherwise, shutter speeds are great, advance is smooth, no other problems to report. Still shoot this weekly with strong results.
This is a good, honest camera for someone looking to make pictures - not a collector. You really can't beat the .58 viewfinder, and they are not common to find.
