Yesterday I walked into my kitchen and discovered the birds visiting my feeder were bathed in low angle winter light from behind. I loved the way the wings were lighting up and also the rim light so I grabbed my Fuji X-H2s and mounted my Canon 200mm f2.8 L using a Fringer brand adapter to try and capture what I was seeing. This was very tricky photography as I was so close to the action and there were a number of obstacles and a busy background which is why I chose lens. The keeper rate was low and I expected this yet it was well worth the effort.
