Some photos that I took this week during a brief visit to Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island, Florida. Weather was cold and unfortunately no Spoonbills

good selection of pictures of a variety of birds. it may have been cold down there by florida standards, but compared to northern indiana into michigan, it was probably almost balmy. glad you got to go and hope the rest of your trip goes well.

Thanks for sharing. I like how the curve of the fish mirrors the bird's neck in the first shot. How was the preserve? Well recovered from the hurricane?

The refuge and the area looked good. I did not see much sign of damage.
