A few years ago, I spent five unforgettable nights exploring Switzerland’s stunning Jungfrau region. I chose Lauterbrunnen as my home base, which proved to be a brilliant decision; its central location made catching trains and cable cars incredibly seamless.
I really have to take my hat off to Swiss engineering—the way they’ve made even the most rugged mountain peaks accessible by rail and cable car is nothing short of extraordinary.
These photos were captured during my ascent to the "Top of Europe" at Jungfraujoch. It was a crisp, bright day in early April, though the high altitude kept the air biting and cold. From a photography standpoint, the conditions were quite a challenge; the light was incredibly harsh against the brilliant white snow, making it difficult to balance the highlights.
Amazing location, what a fun place! I see some people on snowshoeing on #3 The last image is really cool giving a sense of scale of mountains. I agree with you about swiss engineering. Thanks for sharing these.
