I was in the Castle Valley area near Moab a few days ago and on this evening hiked into the Fisher Towers chasing light along this scenic area filled with geologic wonders. The Titan, Ancient Art, Castleton Tower, the Priest and Nuns, and the Rectory all catching golden hour light into sunset and that last bit of desert glow.
Nice set -would make a nice slide show. I esp. like the last two.
How were the temps? We were going to head down there today, but have paused our plans and are rethinking towards the mountains with the present "heat dome".

Thanks Jim, appreciate the kind words! It's warm here too in the Colorado mountains. Moab temps were absolutely perfect and very spring like. It was around 68-72 F during the day and things are just starting to green up. Saw a few cottonwoods with leaves about to bud. And in town many of the trees have blossoms. I'd say it's a good time to go before it gets crowded. There were still more people than I thought but by no means crowded.
