Very nice, Ronny. It's amazing how they can sit like that for hours. For me, perhaps a bit less saturation--but very enjoyable.

Great to see a different owl with different coloration. I would not know if the image is over-saturated without seeing the owl in person.

I agree that I went too far with the color saturation
and maybe too much on the warmer side
The raw image is colder and not as colorful.

Beautiful owl, but I'm surprised no one mentioned the curving band of lighter color at the top of the hole. Not sure what it is, but I would get rid of that one way or another. Saturation doesn't bother me.

I have photographed owls only four times as long as I have been taking photos

on one of those occasions it was owl chicks

there is a hanging branch that is visible there
because I didn't have a completely clear view

While I wanted to include the whole hole in this shot so I left it there

Maybe clone it or do a crop alternative
