Jacob, late to the party here What a stunning set.....the mooonscape overlook images are special. Now you have really inspired me to get out there. IDK why I can't vote....but definitely a FTW worthy set.

A really great set. Number 5 is simply amazing.
Thank you for your nice comments chez! The fleeting moments like the one in 5 are precious; in a few minutes most colors are gone and shadows start to disappear...
Wow, fantastic set! I esp. like the first with a new to me angle on Factory Butte. How did you get back there? I'm just winding up a month long trip and will be posting a few from the same areas - these will be a hard act to follow.

Thank you for the kind words Jim! Get on the W Factory Rd (off Factory Rd) going south. The two buttes are clearly seen on Google Maps. Just find a spot where both buttes are in the frame (takes come climbing :-)). There are sections of the road that are in a pretty bad shape - a high clearance vehicle is a must...
Looking forward to seeing your pictures.
These are great man. Well done keeping these pure. Too many people overbelish images from the badlands. And fall colors at that. Really nice work.
Also seeing that much fog at moonscape is extremely rare. - I live in Torrey and spend most of my days out photographing and guiding in this area and I’ve not seen these conditions.

Thank you for the nice words Hunter! What a nice place to live, especially if you are a photographer...I must have been quite lucky with the fog; it was my first visit to the moonscape and I did not realize that this is rare...
This part of Utah really sparked my love and interest for photography 13 years ago. Many great adventures and camping trips around here. Even got married in the area.

Well done!
Thank you for your kind words ljkamler! Beautiful area indeed...it will take repeat trips to do more exploration...
