Much of the Argentine Desert is between 7000 to 12000 ft in elevation, and supports a healthy population of Cardones cactus. Sometimes the light there is quite beautiful, as well. I was fortunate to be there at the right time earlier this month.
Jeffrey, it’s a great felling to travel to a foreign country and find scenery like this! It’s a better feeling to bring an image home that captures that moment forever! I love this image.

Thanks Dan. A lot more time and expense to get to some 'foreign' photo ops, and you just hope it pays off.
