Bob,

These bring back pleasant memories of a spring visit to Savannah many years ago. Thank you for that.

IMO, Savannah is the classic representative of the the old South. Charleston is the young princess, but Savannah is truly the regal old queen.

Appreciate the share.

My wife and I were in Savannah last week and we walked right by this place. We visited Charleston and Savannah and I certainly agree with Probishaw's description of both these cities. BTW, we took the Hearse Ghost Tour in Savannah and it was an absolute blast. Savannah may be the most beautiful city I've ever visited.

I agree, one of my favorite places too.

I want to see Bonaventure Cemetery also but not able to this past trip.

We visited Bonaventure twice on our trip. It opens at 8:00 am and we had the best light then. The best sights there were at the SE part of the cemetery.
