They are a dime-a-dozen around here, but I still can't resist those stunning blue eyes, and as mentioned, the breeding colors. Despite taking hundreds of shots of them, it wasn't until a couple of years ago that I got some shots that the showed the blue mouth lining. I had to do a little research to learn that it is normal.

I feel the same about photographing them. Giraffes also have blue tongues.
